“Void? You call this void?”

“Plain rhetoric”

“No, I want an answer, if you’re really sure of what you are coupling failure with.”

“I don’t owe you anything. Do you really think you’re that important?”

“Even if I am not, I have a life of mine. I think I am pretty important to myself.”

“Then why do you not work for it? Why do you not strive to make it better? Why do you not just take a sad song and make it better, that is, your life defined? A SAD, miserable and terrible one?”

“Who said I am not?”

“What are you not? Miserable? You are. Terrible you ask? You are. Nobody will or even can just raise you up to stand atop mountains or survive through stormy seas!”

“Who said I am not working for it, I meant. You know I did. You know I am.”

“Right. That’s cuz God’s with you.”

“I don’t believe he even exists. Being with me is a matter out in the boondocks”

“Why?”

“There’s no way you could prove his actuality.”

“What’s the least and/or the highest degree of evidence to make you believe he does?”

“You see him.”

“True. I do not see your ‘work’ bring about any results. I have no reason to believe you are working, then.”

“You didn’t have to put it so long. And, when did I announce I am done working?”

“If you are not, why do you think you’re a failure then?”

“That is different.”

“I believe you’ll read between the lines.”
